Satellite Director: Accurately Locate TV Satellite and Antenna
Satellite Director is a free utility and tool application developed by Zekitez for Android devices. It enables users to accurately locate TV satellites or antennas without the need for complicated calculations using GPS location, magnetic variation, compass azimuth, and satellite position. The app requires access to sensor data such as GPS location and compass to calculate the satellite's position in the sky, as well as access to internal/external storage to store a screenshot or a changed list of satellites, and a camera to align the satellite dish with the displayed arrow.
The app does not collect or share any personal or non-personal data and does not use any form of advertising. However, it requires a phone or tablet with a compass, and users are advised to calibrate the compass before use. It also provides selectable audio tone, camera preview, continuous mode, and color pickers to make it easier for users to find the desired TV satellite. The satellite list contains 280 satellites, and users can take a photo or a screenshot by touching on the director tab.
